Spike**+1,240 visits on Tuesday** · 84% from news.ycombinator.com, landing on /pricing

❯ Why did signups jump this week?

● measuremy.site · explain_spike

Your Show HN post. Those visitors went to /pricing and converted at 1.9×. I drafted a follow-up with a tracked link.

Example data

How it works

## Stop reading dashboards. Ask your agent what to do next.

measuremy.site measures your site, explains what moved it, and gives your coding agent the tools to act on it.

### 1Track

A 1 KB cookieless script records pageviews, referrers, UTM tags and the events you care about, like signups and purchases.

### 2Understand

Spikes are detected every hour against the same hour in past weeks. Each one shows the source, page and event that drove it, with an AI summary.

### 3Grow

Your agent connects over MCP, plans marketing from what already worked, creates tracked links for what it ships, and checks the results.

60-second tour

## Watch it work

Spike detection

## Every spike, explained.

When traffic jumps, you see why in seconds: which referrer, which landing page, which conversions, and what you shipped the day before.

- **Compared with your own normal.** Each hour is measured against the same hour of the week, so Monday mornings don't look like spikes.
- **Causes ranked by lift.** Sources, pages and events, each with its share of the extra traffic.
- **Context included.** Launches, posts and deploys you log show up next to the spike they caused.

**AI analysis**The Show HN post drove most of the rise. Visitors went straight to pricing and converted at 1.9×, so a follow-up post on the same audience is the best next step.

The marketing loop

## Your agent plans it, ships it and measures it.

The same agent that writes your code can now run growth: it reads what worked, drafts the next post, tags every link it publishes and reports back.

- **Tracked links by default.** Every post, email or ad gets its own campaign, so results are never guesswork.
- **Actions ranked by evidence.** Suggestions come from your real channels and conversion rates, not generic advice.

❯ Plan this week's marketing from what's working.

● measuremy.site · get_growth_actions

Reddit converts at 4.1%, best of your channels. I drafted a post for r/SaaS.

● measuremy.site · create_tracked_link

yoursite.com/?utm_source=reddit&utm_campaign=launch-week

❯ How did it do?

● measuremy.site · get_campaign_results

launch-week: 642 visitors, 31 signups (4.8%). Worth repeating next Tuesday.

Real questions

## Ask your agent about your traffic, in plain words.

Each answer comes from your own data over MCP, with the next step attached. Here is what people ask.

### Ask about your audience

❯ How many iOS visitors from the US came last week, and where do my Firefox users live?

● measuremy.site · query_visits

312 iOS visitors from the US, up 18% on the week before. Firefox users: 41% Germany, 22% US, 9% Netherlands.

### Find where people drop off

❯ Where do visitors drop off between the homepage and signup?

● measuremy.site · create_funnel · get_funnel

/ → /pricing → signup: 4,120 → 610 → 38. The biggest drop is /pricing → signup, where 94% leave. Want me to add a tracked button on /pricing and measure it?

### Find your best channel

❯ Which channel actually brings signups?

● measuremy.site · get_whats_working

Reddit converts at 4.1% from 380 visitors and the newsletter at 2.6%. Hacker News sends 6× the traffic but converts at 0.4%. Put the next post where people sign up, not just read.

### Ship a launch, with tracking

❯ I'm posting on r/SaaS tomorrow. Write it and track it.

● measuremy.site · create_tracked_link · add_annotation

Post drafted. Link: yoursite.com/?utm_source=reddit&utm_campaign=saas-launch. I logged the launch, so any spike is credited to it. Ask me for results on Thursday.

### Decide what to fix first

❯ Which pages should I improve first?

● measuremy.site · top_pages · get_funnel

/pricing gets 2,900 views but only 1.3% click through to signup. /docs/install converts 4× better, so link to it from the homepage and watch the funnel.

### Share it with your team

❯ Make my analytics public so I can share them.

● measuremy.site · set_public_dashboard

Done: yoursite.com/share/yoursite.com. It shows traffic, spikes and what caused them. Growth actions and campaigns stay private.

Setup

## Live in two minutes

Paste one sentence into your coding agent. It connects to measuremy.site, you sign in on the page it opens in your browser, and it adds the snippet to your project. Or do it by hand on Next.js, React, Astro, WordPress, Webflow, Framer, Shopify, Squarespace, Wix, Ghost, Google Tag Manager and Plain HTML.

Paste this into Claude Code, Cursor or Codex

`Add measuremy.site analytics to this project: connect the measuremy.site MCP server at https://a.measuremy.site/mcp for all my projects (claude mcp add --scope user; it signs in with OAuth, no key, and one sign-in covers every site), then tell me how to sign in. Details: measuremy.site/llms.txt`

### Add your site

Sign in on the page your agent opens and enter your domain, or sign up yourself. No password, no key, no card.

### Paste one tag

The snippet goes in your site's `<head>`. It also proves you own the domain.

```
<script defer src="https://a.measuremy.site/t.js"
  data-key="pk_…"></script>
```

### Connect your agent

One command for Claude Code, once for all your projects; Cursor, VS Code, Codex and Gemini CLI take the same URL. You sign in through the browser.

```
claude mcp add --scope user \
  --transport http measuremysite \
  https://a.measuremy.site/mcp
```

Privacy

## Useful numbers, no surveillance

### No cookies

Nothing is stored in your visitors' browsers, so there's no consent banner to add for us.

### No personal data

IP addresses are never stored. Visitors are counted with a hash that changes every day.

### Your domain only

Sites are verified before anything is recorded, and each read key sees one site.

### Bots filtered

Crawlers, previews and headless browsers are dropped before they reach your numbers.

FAQ

## Questions

Do I need an AI agent to use it?

No. The dashboard shows traffic, spikes with their causes, funnels, campaigns and suggested actions. The agent connection is there when you want it to do the work.

Which agents are supported?

Any agent that can add a remote MCP server with sign-in: Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code (Copilot), Codex and Gemini CLI. You add the server URL and sign in through your browser; there's no key to copy. Or run `npx measuremysite init` from your project. [See the agent guide](https://measuremy.site/docs/mcp).

Can I host it myself?

Yes. [measuremysite-mcp](https://github.com/developeron29/measuremysite-mcp) is the open-source (MIT), single-site version with the same MCP tools, which you deploy to your own Cloudflare account in one click. The hosted version adds the dashboard, AI explanations of spikes, mentions, alerts and weekly summaries.

How do you know I own my domain?

When the snippet is live on your homepage, the first visit verifies it automatically. If you load it through a tag manager, add a DNS TXT record instead. Nothing is recorded until then.

What happens if I go over my plan's limit?

New visits stop being recorded until next month or until you upgrade, and everything you've already collected stays available. We email you at 80% and when the limit is reached, and there are never surprise overage charges. Above 2M pageviews a month, [contact us](https://measuremy.site/contact?topic=custom) for a custom plan.

How long is data kept?

Raw visits are kept for 400 days. Hourly totals and detected spikes are kept for as long as you have an account. Accounts without a plan that nobody has used for three months (no login and no agent use) are deleted with their data, after an email warning two weeks in advance.
